ABA and Case Management Services are available at A Is For Apple. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of controlling and predicting human behavior. The main focus of ABA involves the observable relationship of behavior to the environment. By functionally assessing the relationship between a targeted behavior and the environment, the methods of ABA can be used to change that behavior.

Research shows that ABA-based interventions are best known for treating people with developmental disabilities, most notably Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). ABA is one of the key underlying principles of behavior treatment utilized at A Is For Apple where we utilize evidenced-based practices and treatment intervention with such populations.

With each child served, a Behavior Consultant will design an individualized treatment program that utilizes evidence-based practices and will oversee its implementation by highly trained therapists. The majority of teaching is done in a child’s home by a team of 2-4 behavior therapists and one Case Consultant managing the child’s program.
